About the Author

Peter Fossel has been an organic grower for 30 years. He’s a decorated Marine combat veteran (Vietnam), a peace activist, and a retired newspaper/magazine editor. A revised, second edition of his latest book, Organic Farming, Everything You Need to Know was published by Voyageur Press, Minneapolis, in 2014. He’s written two other books and numerous articles for Organic Gardening, Horticulture, Yankee magazine, Americana, Newsweek, American Heritage, Country Journal, Out Here, and American Profile among others. Peter now writes and grows organically in Little Compton, RI., with his partner Jana Porter. You can reach him by email.
